Hollywood A-Lister Cameron Diaz Gives Birth to a Baby Boy

Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz, 51, and her musician-husband Benji Madden, 45, recently welcomed a baby boy into their family. The couple shared the news on Instagram, where they expressed their joy and gratitude. However, they also noted that they would not be posting any pictures for the child’s safety and privacy. The pair have a four-year-old daughter named Raddix.

In their post, the duo wrote: “Our hearts are so full of joy, love and gratitude! We are incredibly blessed to welcome our son Cardinal Madden into this world! He is healthy and happy. We will be honoring our son and his safety by not sharing any photos for now.”

This isn’t the first time that the couple has chosen to safeguard their child’s privacy. When Raddix was born in 2019, they announced her arrival in a similar fashion and stated that they wouldn’t share any more details publicly. They have been known to keep their personal lives private and this is just one of the many reasons why they have so many fans who respect them and are so happy for them.

The couple, who have been married since 2015, were thrilled to welcome their newest addition. In their post, they wished the child a “very special and blessed life.” They added: “Our family is now complete and we couldn’t be more proud of our son.”

According to a previous source, the couple have been struggling to conceive for years before Raddix’s birth in 2019. They went through in vitro fertilization, acupuncture, and supplements. They even had to use surrogacy to get Raddix into the world. They were always hoping to have another child and they are definitely happy to be able to do so now.

Fans and fellow celebrities have been congratulating the couple on their new addition. Katy Perry commented: “Congratulations to my favorite parents,” while Amy Griffin posted three red heart emojis. She also tagged the couple.

Diaz, who starred in films such as There’s Something About Mary and The Mask, stepped away from acting and instead focused on raising her daughter and expanding her organic wine business. However, she is set to return to the big screen later this year for a role alongside Jamie Foxx in Netflix’s Back in Action.

The star of Gangs of New York and Mother is also an advocate for mental health and was honored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention with its Courage Award in 2022. She is passionate about educating people about the signs and symptoms of depression and has spoken out on the subject several times in the past.
