Tiffany Haddish is sending her well wishes to Jamie Foxx after he was hospitalized for a “medical complication.”
Haddish, who co-starred with Foxx in the 2017 film “Girls Trip,” spoke about Foxx’s health scare at her and the She Ready Foundation’s 1st annual Prom Gala — A Night Under the Stars on Saturday.
“First of all, that’s the man,” Haddish said of Foxx. “What I can do is pray for him and let him know that there’s nothing but love and peace over here for him.”
Haddish also said that she hopes Foxx is “doing well” and that she is “praying for his healing.”
Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, first announced her father’s medical complication on Instagram on April 12. She said that Foxx had “experienced a medical complication” while in Atlanta filming the Netflix movie Back in Action. Corinne said that “due to quick action and great care,” her dad was “on his way to recovery” at that point.
There has been no further update on Foxx’s condition. However, his daughter’s initial statement and Haddish’s comments suggest that he is on the mend.
We wish Foxx a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the big screen soon.
